What We Ask From You
We require a consistent, dedicated barre or Pilates practice and a strong desire to explore modern barre teachings. A basic foundation in the primary barre postures is essential, along with a good understanding of the English language.
The Equal Teacher Training is an intensive 3-day course designed to immerse you in a transformational experience for both body and mind. This will involve self-study, regular barre practice, and a commitment to stepping out of your comfort zone.

Teacher Training Application Process
Create an account or, if you already have one, apply through our booking system, Momence. After we receive your registration, we’ll follow up via email to request your enrolment/questionnaire form. You’ll be notified of your acceptance within 48 hours.
Your tuition fee is due upon enrolment to reserve your spot. You can also choose from two payment plans. For payment-related questions or requests, please email lili@equalyoga.com. The 50% deposit (of the full price) is due 15 days before the training starts.

Teacher Training Cancellation & Refund Policy
15+ days before training: Full refund minus €25 admin fee.
1-14 days before training or after training begins: No refund.

What Is the Daily Schedule of the Teacher Training?
13:30–14:00: Intro & check-in
14:00–15:30: Lecture
15:30–16:30: Movement Lab
16:30–17:00: Break
17:00–18:00: Class
18:15–19:30: Teaching Practice
19:30–20:30: Practice

Teacher Training Graduation Requirements
To graduate, you must attend all 3 days of in-class teacher training sessions.

Is It Mandatory to Become a Teacher After the Training?
No, it’s not mandatory. The training is perfect for anyone wanting to deepen their barre practice, improve their knowledge of anatomy, and exercise injury-free. If you wish to teach, the certification will help you take that next step.

Can I Teach at Other Studios with my Equal Barre Certification?
Yes, your Equal Barre certification qualifies you to teach at other studios. However, each studio may have its own requirements, so it’s a good idea to check directly with them.

Hiring Process at Equal After Completing Teacher Training
Equal offers Teacher Training graduates the chance to teach community classes. However, teaching at Equal or any other studio is based on finding the right fit, teaching quality, and availability of openings. We cannot guarantee employment. If you wish to join the Equal team, you will need to apply and complete an audition class.
